Personalize It

I've always been a fan of personalizing my own jewelry. It's nice to have something that is sentimental and one of a kind and lately, I've been noticing this trend become more and more popular. Don't get me wrong, I love a good diy friendship bracelet but this trend has come a long way since I was a kid. Proud celebrity mamas everywhere are rocking customized pieces in dedication to their little ones making a statement with a simple letter or name. I love how since this trend has become popular, there are so many different options on ways you can personalize your jewelry. I've put together a collection of beautiful pieces I've found that are bound to be conversation starters…another great reason to hop on board with this trend. What a great excuse to talk about someone or something that you love!

What A Stud

I had a little bit of a tragic experience in high school with dangling earrings. I fell asleep one night with my earrings on and one earring got caught in the threads of my blanket almost splitting my earlobe in half…ouch! My earlobe hole is stretched now and long earrings just look noticeably uneven. Since then, I've envied girls wearing beautiful chandelier earrings. Luckily, I have a lot of other awesome stud options to cover up my battle wounds.

Cubicle Life

It’s important for me to live in a cozy, comfortable space and there are a few essential items needed to bring warmth to my home. Fluffy pillows everywhere at all times, candles, flowers, good lighting and loved ones of course. Although, this is true of my home this is not necessarily the case at work - the one place I spend a majority of my time (go figure). Now, I think it’s safe to say work can sometimes be one of the most stressful environments and in my opinion I think this should be one of the most comfortable spaces. After all, this is the place I spend most of my waking hours. I’ve tried to dress up my cubicle over the past year but the reality is, I’ve completely neglected my work area. One of the things I hope to accomplish this year is creating a workable, comfortable, productive space where I can simply take a moment, sit back and have a “woosah” moment when needed. I’ve created a couple of inspiration boards that will hopefully help me get the ball rollin' on this much needed project. Which one would you go with?
