As seen in…
In effort to justify my very bad magazine buying habit, I decided to make use of the articles I read. I tend to read magazines mostly for inspiration while others I read to catch up on celeb gossip but for the most part I'll read my magazine once and then forget all about it. I'm hoping to create this new blog series and share articles that really stand out for me. This posting is going to be about how to use a cake stand in a variety of creative ways which was featured in HGTVMagazine's March issue. As you can see by my bad photoshopping skills, I tried to put my own twist on things but you get the point.

The Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree
Ahhh...The Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree…what can I say. This is the glamour plant of our time that has made a name for itself by being featured in the most fabulous apartments found all over Pinterest and on your favorite blogs. This is not your typical house plant. As a matter of fact most of the 4'-7' fiddle leaf fig trees you typically see in photographs will run you anywhere from $130-$500. This sculpture of a plant was love at first sight and I hope to be seeing one in my apartment very soon.

Flower Friday
Happy Friday!
Just wanted to share some pictures of arrangements I've created recently. This has honestly been a hobby that has relieved so much stress in my life. I try and make it a point to buy new flowers at least every two weeks. I'm a beginner at all of this but I like to think I've made some progress since I first started. I hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

Business Casual
I recently made a huge career move and I'm excited to announce I will be starting a new job next week! I've received a lot of information on what my new job will entail but what I was most excited to hear were two little words…Business Casual. I'm coming from a very "buttoned up" type industry where "casual" is just not in the vocabulary. Being a lover of fashion, I'm excited to play around with my wardrobe again Monday through Friday. Before my shopping excursion for a new work wardrobe you know I have to go into it with a game plan. Here is what I'm thinking….
